La Parisienne
Design based on a fresco from the palace of Knossos (1450 BCE) depicting a young woman. Her lively eye, fleshy painted lips, and strong nose are all striking. Her curly hair, a tuft of which falls with artfull innocence over the eyes, catches all the liveliness and naturalism of Minoan art. The sacral knot worn at the nape of the neck indicates that she is a priestess or perhaps even a goddess
